The ATO is working with eBay Australia & New Zealand Pty Ltd in a data matching exercise targetting e-bay sellers that sold $10,000 or more worth of goods and services during the period 1 July 2013 to 30 June 2014. The aim of the exercise is to ensure that these taxpayers, expected to number between 15,000 and 25,000, have complied with registration, reporting, lodgement and payment obligations.
